Three of us, covering the region properly. Decades of real fire-service and fire-engineering experience behind every assessment, and a deliberate refusal to use fear to sell it.
RobinsFire exists because too much fire-safety advice is sold on fear, padded to justify a fee, and written in language no busy owner should have to decode.
Neil Green moved into private practice in 2013 after more than three decades across county fire services, defence fire services and a defence regulator role. He'd seen both ends of it, the genuine risks that matter, and the over-prescription that doesn't, and wanted to do the work the way it should be done: proportionate, evidence-led, and explained in plain English.
That's still the whole idea. We assess what genuinely matters in your building. We tell you the truth about it. We give you a clear, photo-rich report and a prioritised action plan you can actually act on, and we don't dress it up to charge you more. For most clients it's a grudge purchase, prompted by an insurer or landlord. Our job is to take it off your plate, properly, and leave you in a defensible position.
We're small on purpose. It means the people who do your assessment are the people you speak to, and nothing gets lost between a sales team and a subcontractor.

The operational engine behind RobinsFire, bookings, client experience, contracts, scheduling, and keeping the whole show moving. Your first point of contact for anything outside the fire-safety work itself, and the reason the rest of us can focus on it.

Three principles that shape every assessment, report and conversation.
We're trained to judge real risk in your building, not to flag forty things so the report looks thorough. Proportionate means proportionate, at the lower end of the range for a small, simple premises, and no padding to justify a fee.
The real risk for most premises isn't a fire officer at the door, it's an insurer or landlord asking for a current assessment you don't have. We'll tell you that honestly, and we won't scare you into buying things you don't need.
You'll know exactly where you stand and what to do next, no jargon, no 80-page box-tick, and no being talked down to. A report a busy owner can read in ten minutes, with the detail there if you want it.
